Fierce Tiger and SZ Absolute have booked spots at the Asia Minor leading to the FACEIT Major after winning the Chinese and the East Asia qualifiers, respectively.

The grand final of the Chinese qualifier was supposed to put Fierce Tiger up against VG.Flash, but the WCA champions had to forfeit the match due to internet issues. HLTV.org knows that VG.Flash suspect foul play, with a statement on the matter expected to be released shortly.

Fierce Tiger's qualification comes just 24 hours after the Chinese team were disqualified from the CS:GO Asia Championships due to one of their players, Kun "LEo" Hou, being handed a VAC ban.

SZ Absolute will attend the Asia Minor

In the Asia Minor qualifier, Fierce Tiger fielded an unknown player nicknamed "tbgirl", and at this point there is no evidence to suggest a connection between this player and LEo.

Meanwhile, SCARZ Absolute and The MongolZ battled it out in the grand final of the East Asia Open qualifier, which had a major upset in the quarter-finals as MVP PK were eliminated by Japanese side Ignis before being able to reach the best-of-three stages.

The Mongolian side took the lead in the final with an overtime win on Inferno, but then SCARZ Absolute turned the series around with convincing victories on Cache and Mirage, securing a spot at another summer offline event after previously qualifying for the ZOTAC Cup Master Asia Regional Finals, which will be held in Taipei from June 5-9.
